Does a speeding ticket affect I-485?

I got a speeding ticket recently. I paid the fine already. Will that affect my I-485?

If it's less than $500 and it's just a simple traffic violation without any aggravating factor such as DUI or drag racing, your I-485 should probably be fine.

My attorney said it depends if it's a simple ticket or you also did something more serious like DUI.
