I-485 situation for India

Got my E1BA approved in Oct, but my lawyer said I can't file I-485 yet. Does anyone know about this? How long do I need to wait?
I used premium processing for my E1BA.

Got mine approved in October too. You gotta check the USCIS visa bulletin to see if you can file the I-485. Now the filing cut off date is 01OCT17.

Yeah. India EB-1 visas are not available now. You probably need to wait for a year or so to file I-485 if you file EB-1 now. But it's better than EB-2 of 10 years waiting.
