need another NIW? got PERM approved

Hello,
I'm reaching out to a couple of lawyers for my EB1A evaluation. Some lawyers are suggesting NIW for me but I already got my EB2 PERM approved. NIW has a long wait time so I really don't see the benefits of applying for another NIW. Do I need to have NIW approved as well?

Do you plan to change jobs? NIW is self petition so it's easier to change jobs than PERM.

Don't forget the PERM and NIW are both subcategories of EB2. Like previous person said, if you want more freedom changing jobs during GC app, you might wanna also do NIW. But if your priority date from PERM is getting close, you really don't need to. Just wait it out with your current employer
