H4 EAD getting nullified?

Hi all, what's the current situation of H4 EAD? Is it very unstable? My spouse is using the H4 EAD but we are also trying to see if we need a separate H1B.

Yeah rumors are the Trump administration will cancel the program...I guess your spouse needs to find a back-up plan (like find a H1B sponsor) to be safe :(

Will they give any sort of advance notice or grace period? What will happen to those who hold H4 EAD if it really gets cancelled?

Nothing's official yet, but I can't possibly imagine just cancelling H4 EAD one day without notice. I guess it's probably best to have a back up plan like previous reply said
