My wife wants to apply for EB1A next year. Below are her credentials. Can anyone comment on her eligibility?
- Major: PhD in Psychology
- Current Position: Postdoc at Harvard Hospital.
- Research Focus: Early-onset Dementia
- Salary: Half from the hospital, half from the Bill Gates Funding
- Citation: over 90. She wants to apply next year when the citations will be over 100
- Review: Not many. Only 4 so far.
- Publications: 8 journal articles. 6 first-author. 2 second-author. All were published in the U.S.
- Recommendation Letters: She wants to ask for 4-5 letters and one of them is from a Professor from Harvard. Another one is from a renowned scientist in the field.

to Owen:

Based on what I heard from my postdoc friends with EB-1A I-140 approval, I think it’d be better if your wife files EB-1A when she has more publications and citations. She probably needs to do more paper reviews as well.

to Owen:

I agree with your wife that filing her case next year when her citations are over 100 should be much safer. At the same time, she should work on getting more reviews done. The current number of reviews does look quite modest.
