EB1B Start up

I am in a delimma and hope someone can shed some lights. I am choosing between a researcher position in
an academic insitution and a management position (still R&D based) in a start up company. They both agreed to sponsor eb1b for me.
I am inclined to take the start up position as I feel the position is more challenging and promising but I'm not sure if
a start up company can do eb1. The comany doesn't have much experience and they are also seeking outside opinions.
Does anyone have experience in start ups sponsoring eb1b?

My company is also a start-up. My employer tried to apply for eb1b for me last year but we failed. The uscis said that we do not have enough full-time researchers so the comapany cannot sponsor eb1b.

Have you taken the start-up position yet? I suggest you consider twice if you have not done so. Based on my own research, working for a start-up would not help your EB-1B case.
