Work in data science/analytics field after NIW approval?

Hello,
My PhD is in biomedical engineering and I got an offer as a data scientist and will do big data analysis on clinical data. Also got my minor in computer science so it's a good job that I want to take.
Is it ok to take this position? Will this affect my NIW in any way?

It's a little tricky since data analysis isn't the best field to claim for your petition. USCIS might think that you aren't working in the same field. But I think you can argue your case reasonably. Definitely consult a lawyer first on this one though.
