When can I file my 485?

I just got my EB-2 approved. I'm from India and I heard there's a huge backlog. When can I file my 485 and get a green card?

I think for India EB2 2009 PD is current right now...so roughly 9 years.....

Hey, are you married? If you’re married and your spouse was born in a country other than India or China, you can use your spouse’s priority date, which should be current for EB-2 now.

how can I keep my status in the US? I'm going to ask my employer if they can extend my H1B for me.

Yes, I'm married. My spouse is also from India so I guess I can't use this rule.
