485 criteria

What do I need to do to qualify for 485? I got my 140 approved. EB-1B. How is it different from 140?

I-485 is more like a background check where they evaluate whether you have any security issues that bar you from becoming a GC holder. I-140 is the difficult step.
You can check the security questions on the form I-485; there should be a couple of them.
