Do I need another medical check-up?

I got the i-693 in December 2017 and 485 is submitted in January. My interview was on the 17th but did not get immediate approval due to PD not current. I need to wait some more months but the I-693 will expire by then. Do I still need to do another round of medical check-up?

I had friends who did the check up three times....
If you are lucky, a second check-up may be valid for two years which gives you sufficient time for your priority date to become current. But you know, these things are hard to predict.
Oh and I also heard from some people that they successfully completed the interview while their PD is not current. So I guess it really depends on luck now.
