Parents Green card

Hi everyone!
I have a quick question: So I applied for green cards for my parents. They submitted I-130 together with I-485 and waited for some months. Neither of them heard back the results of their I-485s. My other's I-130 was approved, though. But my father still hasn't heard back from his I-130.
Do you think this is normal?
