Change jobs after filing I-485

Hi guys,
I filed I-140 under EB1B, which was approved, and my I-485 has been pending for so long....... I filed I-485 more than one year ago. So, my question is, can I change jobs???
I know EB1B is a sponsored case, but due to personal reason I kinda need to change jobs ASAP.....

As your I-485 has be pending for over one year, it should be okay to change jobs as long as you will continue to work in the same field.

Thanks a lot, Christine! I will definitely stay in my field in the new job but I will be working in industry (a tech company) instead of an academic institution (I'm currently a Postdoc scholar). Would that be a problem?
