I have a very urgent matter. So my priority date is October 2016. I've been waiting for two years and now I came across retrogression...What should I do now?

Well, I guess you need to keep waiting till at least January next year. Or maybe you can try contact your congressman?

Have you been following closely with the visa bulletin or you are just being too confident with the EB1 category?

It's really bad. Now the EB1 retrogression is almost as bad as EB2. There's only a 16 months difference now.
