Family members visiting during GC application

Hi, I would like to ask if I wish to include my husband and son in my I-140, is it better that they do not visit me in the U.S. during the application? They currently do not live in the U.S. I am concerned that they would get into trouble traveling or would be excluded from my GC application since they will be traveling on a tourist visa, which should be non immigrant. CAN SOMEONE SUGGEST? THANKS!

If your husband and son want to visit you in the US during your green card application, they need to provide evidence showing that they are in US for a short period of time. Such evidence can be return ticket, clear itinerary etc. However, it’s ultimately up to the discretion of the border office tho….
