I’ve heard that 4-6 is a reasonable number. However, I don’t think the number of recommendation letters matters the most. I would focus more on the content if I were you.to bigladybug230:
Number doesn't matter. Just make sure they are experts from your field.to bigladybug230:
Your attorney would be able to tell the exact number based on your reference list. I heard that most of your letters should come from independent recommenders.to bigladybug230:

4 is enough? I feel like my friends almost submitted more than 4.to bigladybug230:
well, my attorney just told me that I need 5 letters. I'm doing EB1A. I'm not sure how the number got decided but they did raise a good point of too many letters might be too distracting as they might all be taking about pretty much the same thing.
