I hold an H-1B visa, and my partner has applied for EB2. I thought I would become his dependent as I am not interested to file a green card myself, but I got to know
that my H1B cannot be renewed any further (expiration is around mid 2021). So, now I am thinking of having my own NIW as this would allow me to renew my H1B after reaching the 6 year limit. Any suggestions?
Yeah, it would be helpful to apply for your own EB-2. You can extend your H1B visa beyond the 6 year limit with an approved EB-2. It's why I filed Eb-2 NIW.
