Is it worth requesting for PP now??

I want to file under EB-1 with Premium Processing since it is much faster. But I heard some people said that visa for EB-1 has retrogressed and there is not much point to request for PP since you cannot file I-485 anyway. Is this true? So there's no advantage to request for PP? Or is it still better to get the I-140 approved as early as possible?

I don’t see the necessity of PP now. As you won’t be able to file I-485 with I-140 approval, there is not much point to know the result of I-140 in 15 days.

The only advantage I could think of is that if you are holding H-1B, with an approved I-140, you can extend your H-1B beyond 6 years

Anyway thanks for answering my question. I would probably consider filing my case with regular processing if there's not much benefit in doing PP.
