Help! Lost my passport!!!

I just found out my passport was stolen...... I filed I-140 last month. Should I notify the USCIS about this? Should I tell them now? Or do I have to withdraw the I-140 and file it again after I get my new passport?!!

You do not need a passport to file an I-140. You would probably need a valid photo ID for your I-485, but not necessarily a passport. Still I would suggest that you get a new passport; it looks kinda weird not to have one.

This could be a potential problem as your visas and visa stamps should be inside the passport. I guess you need to call your consulate right now to see how much damage a missing passport can do.
