A EB1B question

Help!
I want to apply for EB1B but I heard that one must be working for academic institutions or non-profit organizations to be eligible for EB1B. My current position is a lab researcher at a tech company. Does that make me disqualified for EB1B?

You can file EB-1B with a tech company serving as your sponsor. It’s just that your employer needs to meet certain requirements, such as having at least 3 full-time researchers (excluding you), accomplishments in an academic field, the ability to pay your salary, etc.
