How do I get a waiver for my J visa?

My J-1 visa has the two year home residency requirement but I've heard that I can get a waiver for this. Does anyone know how to get the waiver?

You could probably get a J waiver through No Objection Statement (NOS) from your government. You can ask your embassy in DC to see if they will give you NOS for your J waiver.
