So I barely know that co-author as he only helped with some statistical analysis part of one of my papers. He is also from another lab from a different university.
Can I count him as independent?
I'm doing EB1A if it matters.
My lawyer told me independent recommenders are people I've never worked with professionally. If he helped one of your papers, he's a dependent recommender
