Book chapter citations

Hello friends!
I am from China and I am preparing for eb1a. I have one book chapter published in 2016 and the book has 45 citations so far. Can I count those 45 citations as my citations? I heard different answers...

My lawyer told me that the citations have to be specifically to the chapter you wrote, not just any part of the book....
