EB-2 NIW and employer-sponsored EB-2

I am from India and I have an approved EB-2 NIW. Recently, my employer has said that they will sponsor my EB-2 PERM. Should I file an additional EB-2 case? If I do and the PERM case is rejected, will my NIW also be rejected?

No your NIW should continue to be valid. It won't be affected by your PERM.

You can file PERM as a back up if you want to. Also you can use the PD you get from your NIW case for your PERM.
