I filed my I-485. Can I add my spouse?

I have an approved EB-2 NIW and I've already sent out my I-485. Recently I'm planing to get married and I want to add my spouse in my application. Is that possible? Will this create any issue or even affect my own I-485?

Congrats on getting married! Yes, I'm pretty certain you can add your spouse to your application and your spouse can file their own I-485. It should not affect your current I-485.

Yeah if your I-485 is still pending then you should have time to add your spouse.

Thank you guys for answering my question! So the officer will not be suspicious even if we just get married for a very short time? Like, maybe they will think my spouse get married with me to get a green card?
