Applying for CPT

I am a PhD student on F-1 and I want to work as an intern at a company this summer. Can I apply for CPT after I file I-140 EB-2?

You need to check with your school about this. It's up to them to issue you the CPT. I think most schools don't really care if you have an I-140.
